After much investigation, we found out that the drone would not fly straight from the box. We had to initially hack the tablets and the phones to reveal the developer options, which I might add was easy once we figured out why the mobile devices were not connecting to the drone remote until we turned on the usb debugging which was basically a tick box.
It’s now official, we have a drone on order and are super stoked! It’s one of the DJI Inspire 1 drones which has legs which raise up to allow an unfettered 360 degree view of the subject matter. The drone arrives this week and we have also been purchasing various add-ons to help Curtis (who is our official drone pilot for Jupp Industries) and make his life easier. We’ll keep you posted on the social side of things once all the professional training and government accreditation has been completed, so we can start providing this to our wonderful clients.
We fell in love with this video, as it is not just a stunning example of what can be done with a drone, but opens up the potential for us to engage more in the beautiful scenery in and around British Columbia, but with thoughts crossing our minds of real estate, sports and so much more!
